Perhaps it is because I’ve always had great access to graphic design tools like Photoshop and Fireworks that I’ve never:
- Thought to write an application like this myself
- Thought to even do a search for it.
Probably one of the most often repeated actions sitting at a computer, creating websites is finding the RGB or HEX values of a particular colour you need to use. I used to take a screen grab and use the eyedropper in whatever application I had open. With this great little application, you just SHIFT+LEFTCLICK on the icon in your system tray, drag the little window to the pixel you want and it puts the value in your clipboard.
Efficiency + 1.
