Who He Is

Glen Gower has served as the City Councillor for Stittsville Ward (Ward 6) since December 1, 2018. He was first elected in the 2018 municipal election, defeating three-term incumbent Shad Qadri with 58% of the vote. Gower was re-elected in 2022 with 58.67% of the vote. Prior to his political career, he worked in marketing and communications, including roles with the Ottawa Senators and Ottawa 67’s hockey teams. He is also known for his involvement in community initiatives and his background in journalism.
